Lloyd Allison-Young is an actor from Canberra, Australia. A graduate of the Stella Adler Studio of Acting [New York] and the International Theatre School of Jacques Lecoq [Paris], Lloyd has appeared in such Australian films as That’s Not Me and The Black Balloon, featured television roles in Deadly Women, All Saints, The Strip as well as a handful of national commercial campaigns.
In 2018, Lloyd received critical acclaim in three back-to-back productions at Sydney’s New Theatre; as the mad PADRAIG in The Lieutenant of Inishmore, the merry monarch KING CHARLES II in Nell Gwynn, and as DEV in the Sydney Theatre Award Winning production of Stupid F*cking Bird.
Also an accomplished musician and songwriter, he is the frontman for the Paris-based rock group The Everly Ills, and will next be in Canberra as the musical director for the production of Brecht classic Mother Courage & Her Children, as presented by ShadowHouse PITS at Daramalan College later this year.
