Anneka van der Velde is a Melbourne based artist. She graduated from Canberra Academy of Dramatic Art in 2017 with a degree in Performing Arts. After graduating, she went on to create and co-own Limbo Theatre Company, successfully producing and performing in The Accidental Death of an Anarchist (2018) and The Good Doctor (2019). Some of her acting credits with Lakespeare include Much Ado About Nothing, A Midsummer Night's Dream and As You Like It. She was most recently seen on Canberra stages in the role of Mercutio in Romeo and Juliet.

One of her most acclaimed achievements was creating a 2 woman clowning and physical theatre show that she co-created and performed in with 'TwoLeftFeet Theatre' called ‘Sole Mates’ for Adelaide Fringe Festival 2021. The show primarily focused on physical theatre, clowning and puppetry.

Most recently, she has been pursuing her interests in the improv and sketch comedy scene in Melbourne.

Anneka also has a keen interest in acrobatics and has pursued skills in acro, teeterboard and trampoline since 2015.
