Max has been performing on Canberra stages for over 20 years as an actor, musician and emcee. By day he shares his passion for physics and maths by performing with Questacon’s science theatre troupe The Excited Particles. By night he treads the boards of Canberra’s many stages - mostly doing musical theatre. His favourite roles include Dewey (School of Rock), Mr Caldwell (Urinetown), Shrek (Shrek the musical), Khashoggi (We Will Rock You), Pilate (Jesus Christ Superstar), The Artilleryman (War of the Worlds) and King Arthur (Spamalot). Max was memorable in his multi-role performance in Lakespeare’s As You Like It (2022), and he is very excited to be performing Shakespeare again in 2024.
