Marni Mount (she/they) is an actor, director, and dramaturg living and working in Naarm. A Canberra native, Marni has worked as an independent artist across the capital, working with The Street Theatre, Canberra Theatre Centre, Canberra Youth Theatre, Lakespeare, the National University Theatre Society, and Screen Canberra. Since moving to Melbourne, she has directed the critically acclaimed world premiere of Trophy Boys by Emmanuelle Mattana, the mainland premiere of The Camel by Dylan Van Den Berg, and the Melbourne premiere of MinusOneSister by Anna Barnes. Her production of Trophy Boys will tour nationally in 2024. She is returning to Shakespeare by the Lakes for her second appearance, having played Hermia and Quince in the 2020 Lakespeare production of A Midsummer Night’s Dream.
